My Village ~ Tok Sangkut(Hanging Village)

Tok Sangkut (Hanging Village) one of the old village in Pasir Mas district. This village is surrounding by a few villages such as Tok Derpah, Jejawi, Kubang Pepuyu and Banggol Stol. The population is 400 people and vary famous with the kind and hardworking people. The village become a center of this area because of a few important building such as mosque and school. Aha..SK Tok Sangkut is my school when I was at primary school. It was built half a centure ago. It's very old school.

The photo showed one of the road to Desa Homestay, the only homestay in Kampung Tok Sangkut. I am sure that tourists like the green scenery and look nature. That the special thing about my village.

The 'kampung boy' which is Haikal and Hakimi representing all kid in this village. They look happy and very creative. Behing that is 'sawah padi' or pasi field whch is one of the villagers economic activities. Why not tourists explore and experience themself how the gardener produce padi as the main agriculture product in this village. I am sure tourists like to see leech and covering their body with the mud.

Masjid Mukim Tok Sangkut which is the place where people can stay together and the best place for villager to meet each other. That the main objective to build the mosque. So, muslim people can pray and at the same time they can solve many problem among the villager.

I like green. Green make me calm and harmony. Desa Homestay is surrounding with the green scenery that make the homestay look like an old place and very suitable for people who like to avoid from noisy city.

Habiscus or bunga raya is one of Malaysian heritage. Desa Homestay is surrounding by this heritage flowers. It comes with various color such as red, yellow, pink, white and so on.
